Scarlett Johansson was born on
November 22, 1984 in New York City. She is the third child of four siblings, the
youngest family member is her twin brother Hunter. Her father is from Danish decent
while her mother is of Polish. From a very young age Scarlett had already made
up her mind to become an actress. She made her first on screen debut in the 1994
movie North, which also star Bruce Willis and Elijah Wood. Afterwards she appear
in other movies, but didn't really earn any acclaim until 1998 The Horse Whisperer.
Afterwards she star in such movies as Ghost World, Lost in Translation, and Girl
with a Pearl Earring. The later two earning her invites to the Golden Globes.
Her career has sense then skyrocketed and she has become one of the most recognizable
